Coleman Raises More Than 125K - 7/18/2006 (Back)
SCARSDALE, NY – Figures released today by the Board of Elections show that Jim Coleman, the Republican challenger for the 88th A.D. seat, has raised more than $125,000.00 since his official campaign kick-off last month (June 28).

“This is a clear reflection of my surging campaign, I’m absolutely humbled by the level of support I’ve received so far,” Coleman said, explaining the progress the campaign has seen since last months kick-off in White Plains. “As I walk door to door meeting the voters I constantly hear concerns about the lack of leadership in Albany. They’re tired of rhetoric without results and so am I. We need to deal with the out of control spending that costs New Yorkers billions in higher taxes, we need to work to improve healthcare by providing universal health insurance, we need to make education better for all and we need to finally make our Bronx River Parkway flood free and safe.”

Coleman has approximately $100,000.00 on-hand and he looks forward to raising more cash over the next three months so that he can get his positive message of progress out to the voters.

“My campaign is about changing the way Albany does business. Albany is broken and the current Assemblywoman has not even tried to fix it. The people of the 88th district deserve a leader and I ask that they ‘give me a chance and I’ll give them a choice”.
